    Keane on the bench again!!

Robbie Keane is on the bench again, even with Kanoute out injured. Its a bit worrying thay our two main strikers Keane and Morrison are not first choice for their clubs.

Keane didn't play well when he started in midweek and Defoe was always going to start. Mido scored btw. Reid and Kelly started. 1-1 atm.

Keane has scored !(but that's Roy not Robbie!).

Robbie is going to find it tough at Spurs, this Mido guy
has scored a lot of goals in the past I believe, and he
doesn't seem to have a problem scoring in the Premiership

Keane has scored (this time it was Robbie).
Andy Reid put him through I believe.

Meanwhile, Robbie comes on and scores for Spurs.
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.

Reid hit the woodwork a minute before Keane scored.

Yeah, Reid set up Keane's goal.

Its probably to Irealnds advantage if Robbie only coming off the bench as he'll still be getting plenty of game time btu also be nice & fresh for internationals.

I think that goal means Robbie makes the BBC's top scorer table:
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...rs/default.stm

His 11th of the season. Not bad considering he was injured at the start of the season and isn't a regular.

    Supposedly a superb goal too.

I dont think it does alot of his goals were in the cups, and that bbc table is only for league goals/

hehe, no its not. Henry hasn't got 20 league goals, RVN has closer to 2 than 12.

BTW, Robbie has 5 assists in the league awell.

As far as league goals go Robbie is joint 12th (of twelve),
another goal and he would be joint tenth (of 3).
    According to:-

    (select england).

Henry had 16 league goals and 4 Champions League goals, RVN is have an absymal season with 4 league goals. Ashton and Taylor shoun't be on that list anyhow. Keane is doing OK, been a stop-start season. Again.

In fairness, he's only played 9 times.

The Sky sports one takes in every game, including internationals. So according to this he's averaging a goal every other game he's played this season.

In 29 games including 2 as a sub he's scored 15 goals. Not a bad oul' season really.

Mido was fantastic at Ajax, but he was never the full shilling. He once paid a youth player to show up at a press conference for him and he threw a pair of scissors at Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the changing room. If he can keep it together at Spurs then he might be something, but he's been at 5 clubs now and he's only 21.
