Andy, there are more to a clubs facilities other than the capacity of their ground and how many bums will fit on seats. I think the point which was made of Rovers having better facilities also includes training facilities. Rovers presently have the full use of the training facilities in the Sligo IT, a state of the art running track and the pitch is in immaculate condition. Rovers also have a super sponsorship deal with the Radisson SAS Hotel where the squad have full use of the gym and leisure centre. Super facility, has to be seen to be believed. Players coming into the club now have these facilities at their disposal and are very impressed with this. Most clubs don't have these facilities and come nowhere near it and most clubs in the lower divisions in England conduct their training sessions on local parks. All this and then the prospect of the all-weather facility opening up in a few weeks time Rovers find themselves up there amoung the best when it comes to facilities. Not many clubs in the National League can boast of such wealth when it comes to training facilities and I think we as Rovers supporters have a tendancy to overlook all that is good about our club and are more likely to concentrate on the last result on the pitch.Originally Posted by Andy Mac
