Classic on the latest TFTES podcast Derek Tracey was being interviewed (17 years with Rovers) and he was telling a story about how he was dropped for one of the matches , he was ****ed off and went into town to get hammered with a couple of pals in the HARP bar on O Connell street , the slow set came on (remember them) and he was dancing with this girl who asked him what he did for a living,

Him " I play football for Shamrock Rovers"
Her " I have a cousin who plays football for Shamrock Rovers"
Him " whats his name"
Her "Derek Tracey "

He said it was just the way his day was going.....

He didn’t get a trial with Chelsea for nothing. He’s a raw talent and will have to improve both physically and his decision making but he’s got the potential to be a star. Best of luck to the lad. Not looking good for Limerick.
