    Mick Cooke Sues Bray Wanderers

Was thinking it was a bit too quiet down there!

Cooke is believed to have a far larger sum outstanding, something approaching €100,000, in part because he had signed a new, improved contract after having enjoyed initial success at the club last year. He had taken over at the Carlisle Grounds in July after a period of turmoil but guided them to eighth place in the final table.
That's quite a chunk of change.

Suppose we've been without a Bray controversy for a while now.

Well don't give someone a contract unless you're willing to pay them

We could be back to calling them the 'Unmentionables' again if this plays out like previous unmentionable things that never happened...

Not related to this story but there's an interesting podcast on Newstalk ( Team 33) on his playing and managerial career.
