I don't think there was any thread on Farrelly in the Ireland section. This is an interesting read from The Guardian yesterday.
I still think all the time that I am part of the 10% that live
That vital goal for Everton...
Weird. I just read this on Guardian and came in to post it. Ya snooze ya lose!!!
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
My dilemma was whether or not to start a new thread. I feared that it might end up being a thread with only an opening post and no more, so at least you've prevented that.
He's on OTB right now!!!
I found it interesting when I searched for his thread on Google that their were no archive tags.

What's an archive tag and why would you search for his thread through Google? (Excuse my ignorance)
Eh, search for "Liam Lawrence foot.ie" and you'll aee the archive tags.
I searched fr the thread on Google as I hadn't noticed it in the Ireland thread at any point since you posted originally so just assumed when I saw the article in the guardian earlier that the last thing written about Gareth would have been quite a while ago so searching google was ye prudent thing to do. Searching on the site can be nightmarish at times, sure Google is how I found Shay Given's thread earlier.

Oh right, good to know. I find the search facility works quite well, as long as the creator has the player name spelt correctly, etc. Obviously search by 'title only' in 'advanced search', but I doubt I need to tell you that. There were a few threads on Farrelly, just not in the Ireland section.
By the way, that example brought me to page 8 of the Liam Lawrence thread, bit strange?
you can limit a google search for certain sites by putting "site:<site address>" at the end of a search
e.g
Liam Lawrence on foot.ie: https://www.google.ie/search?q=liam+...e+site:foot.ie
Liam Lawrence on fai.ie: https://www.google.ie/search?q=liam+...ce+site:fai.ie
There an ominous line in that Guardian article dated 09/10/2016
he (Gareth) moved to Merseyside in 1997. “I was coming from a situation at Villa where the team was doing very well but I had a toxic relationship with one of the coaches there.
It has come to pass that the toxic coach he refers to is none other than Kevin McDonald. Gareth spoke out in greater detail in a recent interview with the Guardian newspaper.
Gareth Farrelly alleges he and others were targeted in 1990s
Well done to him for speaking out, and in such a forthright manner.
There seems to be a problem with the twitter embed that applies the link to the tweet to any text following the embed. It's a little annoying.
Did some searching on the Judicial Panel. Didn't find anything on premierleague.com, which is odd, so these snippets describe the role of the panel
from https://www.edgehill.ac.uk/law/2020/...udicial-panel/
from https://www.womeninfootball.co.uk/ne...remier-league/The Premier League recently created a new judicial panel to adjudicate independently on disciplinary cases referred to it by the Premier League Board, and to resolve disputes between the Premier League clubs and managers.
The Premier League has recently resolved to create a new Judicial Panel, that is a standing group of arbitrators with legal, financial, sporting and other relevant expertise, the members of which may be appointed to adjudicate independently on disciplinary cases referred to it by the Premier League Board and to resolve disputes between Clubs and Managers by way of arbitration.
