Will we still be grateful if England beat us 7-0 as well?

Our quarter final against England is confirmed for Saturday at 11:00 (Irish Time).

No sign of television coverage yet but hopefully one of the Eurosports pull something out of the bag.

Still no sign of our match being televised on either of the two British Eurosports or the German version. The three other quarter finals are all being shown live.

New format, same result. Germany beat Norway on penalties in the women's semi final despite missing their first three penalties. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39798344

Aye, it's odd that. According to LiveOnSat, our game is the only game of the four quarter finals that won't be broadcast anywhere: http://liveonsat.com/los.soc_int_U_all.php

LiveOnSat have obviously mixed their info up or something as well as they appear to think the match on Eurosport 1 tomorrow at 16:45 will be between England and Bosnia & Herzegovina. The match kicking off at that time is between Germany and the Netherlands. And obviously B&H didn't make it through either considering we finished ahead of them!

  10. Thanks From:

We performed very well in two games and we weren’t at our standards for the third game. The players have had the opportunity to look back at certain stages of that game, speak about it and then we got out on the pitch this morning and had a very good session. Everyone realises now we are in a different competition, it’s knockout now and it’s a derby game for us.

England are a high-quality team. They are very strong at the back, have very good ball-playing midfielders and their big players are their forwards where they have a lot of creativity, pace and power. We will have learned a lot from the last game, what we need to do better, and if the players do that earlier tomorrow we’ll be fine. The main thing is that our players learn. This is about their future. They are in a quarter-final of a European Championships, it’s the furthest we’ve come in 20 years and they are getting loads of experience from it. That can only be good for our players going forward up to 18s, 19s, and U21s.

wonder how they will set up tommorrow. sancho out wide for brits has been outstanding, We have set up very narrow defensively really leaving our full backs exposed think tommorrow our wide players will need to be far more disciplined to help our full backs.

LiveOnSat have corrected their schedule, but still no sign of our game being broadcast anywhere: http://liveonsat.com/los.soc_int_U_all.php

Does anyone know if it's on radio, by any chance?

Uefa has it down as a 433 but with the players picked I wonder is it 5 at back with everted wide players in midfield and idah up top. Seems sensible. Connolly has been poor defensively so hopefully he will put in a shift.pity o Connor is not fit enough to start.. Missing your first choice keeper from everton your captain from man utd your defensive midfielder from west ham who has played at 23 level and a Liverpool striker is going to be tough for a country our size. Best of luck

    Ireland not really threatening.

This 80 minutes could pass so slowly and painfully, it might as well be 90!

True. 1-0 at half time not too bad after conceding early, hopefully they can hang in there.
