    Rovers open pre-season with draw

    Shamrock Rovers played out a 2-2 draw with Irish League club Portadown at Shamrock Park last night.

    Brian McGovern and Trevor Molloy scored the goals for Rovers.

    well fancy that! the last time mcgovern scored for us was the fai cup quarter final in longford v waterford utd in the season before last season with a fourty yard header.

    a quality player if he gets his mind to it!

    Its a conspiracy ..

    .. as far as I know, left wing securocrats within the PSNI/GAA colluded with Cork City supporters to ensure Shamrock Rovers didn't defeat Newry.

    Any comment NY Hoop ?

    PS The Holocaust never happened.
    PPS Dublin elements colluded with the British to ensure the defeat of Glasgow Celtic at the Battle of the Boyne.
    PPPS The Evening Herald is a journal of repute.
