Thought Fairview were excellent yesterday for 75 minutes and were in total control with John Mullane the standout for me, last few minutes were a bit helter skelter and Fairviews inability to deal with set pieces is going to cost them and this was the only way the home side fashioned any chances. Fairview much the better side though and are deservedly in the hat for the next round.

Abbeyfeale United and carrig celtic advance to open draw from desmond league. Good luck to both..
Some shock for the Fairview boys, surely fancied their chances to go a long way.
You think? Most of the club stalwarts I've spoken to at the ground in recent weeks have been pretty pragmatic about their prospects, to be fair.
It wasn't much of a shock result to me either, particularly on the evidence provided by the two prior rounds, coupled with Fairview's last two league games.
interesting report AOB,having watched the game very disappointed with Fairview, midfield quite poor and a few of them seemed to run out of steam, big result for Kilmallock, played some good football and their keeper was solid throughout.
Fair play to pike grinding out a good win today. Sign of a good team, playing badly and still winning. Watched an hr and being honest pike could've scored 2 or 3 more. Cappamore limited to half chances and trying to get at the ref. Who I thought had a fine game
Fairplay to Kilmallock! Their golakeeper was immense yesterday. I thought when fairview equalised they would go on to win. They missed a mass amount of chances, not just half cut but great goalscoring opportunities and are badly missing a good striker.
Yes, I would have said the Fairview players had ideas on winning the FAI. What the sideline warriors think is of no concern to me.
