    crossbar challenge v portadown fc

I've been contacted by a member of portadown fc who is asking for 10 fans names to be put forward for charity challenge so here are the details

Portadown are running a crossbar challenge at half time during their games.

This envolves 10 supporters from each side trying to hit the crossbar with a ball, each player will have one go. Shots will be from the edge of the "D"

Players name ( or there forum name )will be announced on the PA before they take their shot.

    not sure of anything else

but the thing is we definite names that will be at the match so i can let the OSC do something about it if they are organizing travel or i will do something about it nearer to the match

or we can have one or 2 people from each supporters group e.g 451, i.w.o.t.o , corner boys exiles etc what do people think

Judging by some of the Red FM hit the bar efforts ... i'd suggest screening some of the City players taking part .... some of them would have struggled to get a goal, not to mind hit the bar !!

Although some others got a bulls eye .... hit the horseshoe at half time !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Yeah you can have first seat, standard rules apply from previous trips or to the boot you go

Can't see any reason why i won't be going at this stage. Will be driving unless exlies run bus or something.

Could I face the embarassment of the ball rolling along the ground and stopping short of the goal-line.....

I'd be well on for that - Would be a laugh - Good relations building as well like .......

also a mate of mine from simon , lives in Liverpool, will be coming home for the game and is a member of the Ports Club - He's offered to meet up before hand and bring us to the Members bar
