I'm what? I'm ants at a picnic?
Pats - hard to call, but Ozo just shades it for me ahead of Eddie.
Others - Liam Coyle was always the one opposition player that absolutely terrified me, which is as good an indication of any of pure talent.
Revenge for 2002
Is favourite different to the BEST? Coz if it isn't, I don't understand why Liam Coyle only gets 5 votes.

For what its worth i though about putting him down ... it is a hard question in all fairness, .... i think it is a very hard call to be honest.Originally Posted by dancinpants

George O 'Callaghan..legend!

Im only happy I was able to witness him play through his entire career, right up to his very last goal in his very last match to relegate Finn Harps. Classic end to a career.

Ben Hannigan and Paddy Shortt.
Anyone too young to remember them, you can't even begin to imagine what you missed...

I went to my first League of Ireland game back in 1972
goalkeeper defender striker
Ok past players ( pre-1979) Richie Blackmore, Al Finucane, Brendan Bradley
Turlough O'Connor. The last two were the top two goalscorers in history until very recently. Bradley is still the leading scorer but I think Pat Morley has eclipsed Turlie.
goalkeeper defender Attackers
U.C.D. players ( past) Alan O'Neill, Ken O'Doherty, Darren O'Brien and Mick O'Byrne
Other clubs too many to name in one short posting.
Pat Morley would definitely be up there in the strikers category
