No cousins is here to stay sadly. We've a few new singings but no one knows anything about them so it could be a great night or a total disaster. Big night for Kenny Shiels IMO after his comments after the Dundalk game.
Friday
Derry City - Longford Town
Shamrock Rovers - Bohemians
Drogheda United - Athlone Town
UCD - Waterford United
Saturday
Bray Wanderers - Finn Harps
Limerick - Cobh Ramblers
Shelbourne - Cabinteely
-----------------------
Should be an interesting one in the Brandywell tonight. Struggled against Longford earlier in the season, coming away with a 1-1 draw. We took a 5-0 defeat off Dundalk in our last match, whilst Longford put three past them in their last.
Does Cousins need to win/draw this to keep his job?
Odds are Derry 1/4; Draw 17/4; Longford 9/1. Great price for Longford, even if they've only one once all season.

Great save by Delaney for that pen from Miele. You'll hardly see a better save in any league!!
Alan Byrne sent off for Waterford Night made already.
Is there any online stream of the Eir Sports coverage tonight?

Ridiculous challenge by Buckley to get sent off. He was on the ground sliding in for an age before the tackle.
Some lob by Kurtis Byrne. Entertaining first 25 mins in Tallaght.
Entertaining game. Neither team can defend.
That's an absolute stonker of a game in tallaght.
Bohs look absolutely desperate but shamrock are determined to let them score.
That shamrock job is an attractive one some decent youngfellas there if a manager has the balls to get rid of the dirt.
Most entertaining game of football I've been at in a long time. Had a bit of everything. Rovers defending is comical but they should push on and win with the extra man in the second half.
I'd love if we could go a couple of games without getting lads sent off.
Miaouw! And this month's prize of a saucer of milk goes West!
Sharp, very sharp!!
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!
- E Tattsyrup.
Excellent. I was kind of hoping to use my chromebook, but it doesn't support KODI and I'm not arsed with Linux on it.
Also, the whole backwards way of chromecasting KODI from phone is just a nightmare too.
Great to be able to watch it though in some way that isn't those brutal trackchamp streams.

Every time I watch Rovers, I realise how grateful I am that the club I support never employed a Brennan.
Massive change of atmosphere in Tallaght with Fenlon gone. Obviously helped by the fact it was the derby game, but even the team seemed to be playing with far more positive intent. There's still huge problems to be worked out on the field, the defending was shambolic at times against 10 men, but there was positive signs and it'll be interesting to see if Bradley can stay on and keep faith with the youngsters.
Well let me just tell you I found that rather satisfying.
Enough about my pint though, what a result!
quite a "hectic" game in tallaght last night.
Rovers deserved to win, but the openesss with which we played might lead to some high scoring games from here on in.The young guys in the Rovers team coped well with the derby atmosphere, and seemed to revel in it.
akinade is a hard guy to stop, and him going off blunted any attacking threat that bohs had.
we wouldnt have had that kind of game with Fenlon in charge , so we are seeing the positives already.
Shamrock Rovers- Where trophies are won and envy is scarce
Peno for UCD inside the first ten minutes last night - though I thought a red card now wasn't issued if a goalscoring chance was denied but there was a genuine attempt to play the ball? Maybe Alan Byrne was unlucky to be sent off, even if he did come through the back of Ryan Swan when about to tap home into an empty net from six inches. (And knowing Swan's form of late, that mayn't even count as a definite goalscoring chance)
One lad commented after that we wouldn't get another penalty now unless it was absolutely stonewall. Ended up with three penalties - two for us and one for them.
Bit worrying that Waterford basically matched us while down to ten men for 80 minutes. But a win is a win. Big game in Cobh next week now.
