Bray went further ahead early on in the second half when a good quality ball into the Wexford area left Morris(?) with a free header which he put away easily for 2-0. Youth's Duxey Dunne came on in place of Hopper Kenny after ten minutes of the second period. The game was put to bed just before the hour mark when Cherrie made an unbelievable save to keep out a point-blank header from Gary Delaney and then Bray went up the other end and scored through Connolly with a header which just crossed the line before Graham Doyle scooped it away according to the assistant referee for 3-0 to Bray. Couple of half-chances for either side then finished the game with Bray having coasted to a 3-0 victory to go ahead of the Youths in the table on goal difference. Youth's major fault on the night was the failure to deliver quality ball into the box with far too many falling easily into Cherrie's hands or overhit. In contrast, Bray used the ball much better and two of their quality crosses led to two of the goals for the home side on the night. 3-0 to Bray at full-time with Harry Kenny looking to have transformed the home side since he was put in charge.
