Does anyone know if Terry Phelan scored for Ireland at senior level? Wikipedia has one goal in his profile, but I can't find any record of this

I can't for the life of me remember who it was against or when but I think I remember him scoring in an untelevised friendly game that I listened to on the radio.
The Wikipedia page with stats on Irish internationals contradicts his personal page, saying he didn't score for the senior team: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...al_footballers - the plot thickens
Greenscene says he didn't score: http://greenscene.me/2011/03/best-ir...rs-ever-40-31/ - the plot thins out again
did some checking on Phelan's caps, looks like he didn't score

3 Irish players in the League Two team of the Season. Suprisingly none in League One or Championship. Must be a first.
League Two:
Goalkeeper: David Forde (Portsmouth)
Left-back: Enda Stevens (Portsmouth)
Midfield: Graham Carey (Plymouth Argyle)
Aiden McGeady's fifth goal of 2016/17, Kevin Doyle's 50th appearance for Colorado Rapids, the first red card of Mark Yeates' career & more in the weekend roundup: http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/Blog...75254359303488
We have three representative on F365's list of the Premier League club's forgotten men.
West Brom – A second Wilson on the list. Marc Wilson on loan to WBA from Bournemouth. I had no idea he played for any of those clubs.
Stoke – The man with 15 nans, Stephen Ireland is still knocking about Stoke
Burnley – Cork City to England and a Long but Kevin Long is not Shane’s brother apparently. Very disappointing.
Forgetting a forgotten man is unforgivable!
(Never heard of him to be honest).

'Five Irish Named in Four Four Two's Top 50 Players in the Football League': https://www.balls.ie/football/best-i...-league-362639
The five Irish are Preston's Aiden McGeady (#31), Sheffield Wednesday's Kieren Westwood (#25), Plymouth Argyle's Graham Carey (#23), Norwich's Wes Hoolahan (#12) and Villa's Conor Hourihane (#7).
Bit of a nonsensical list though, isn't it? How can you compare fellas playing at different levels? Journeymen in the Championship are probably better players than the stars of League 2.
Liam Brady's testimonial was against Finland I think. Keane scored in David O'Leary's testimonial but it was against Hungary, not Bulgaria.
I have something in my head about a Phelan goal for Ireland, a kind of volley into the ground that bounced over the keeper... or maybe even a deflection... or something... could have been a goal at club level though or just a figment of my imagination.
Barry Corr's first start in 14 months, Billy Clarke's 25th goal for Bradford, Jack Byrne in the Wigan squad for the first time & more in the weekend round up: http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/Blog...31841192457960
U19 defender Tyreke Wilson starting at left full for Man City right in the FA Youth Cup final, first leg.
Game is on ITV4
