    Longford raid Gillingham for reinforcements

Martin Lawlor has called in Gillingham players Richard Rose and Daniel Spiller to boost his struggling side. Hammered 6-1 by Shamrock Rovers in the League Cup on Wednesday, Longford were forced to field almost an entire second string 11 because of a crippling injury list.

And the manner of the defeat left Lawlor with no option but to call for on-loan reinforcements from England who will stay until the end of the campaign. "But both on-loan players have been knocking on the door of first-team football at Gillingham. They're looking for experience and they're attitude impressed me. That's the sort of attitude that we need right now."

english imports don't have a great history, particularly when it's a struggling club nearing the end of the season. hope this works out for ye though.

Have any English lads played for the Town in recent years? I hope they do well for us, I think so, they've something to prove and they'll want to make a name for themselves.

The two lads in question got a great review on one of the Gillingham web sites, especially the full back. They say he's a division 1 standard player in the next year.

The girl you were molesting in the corner......Or maybe you'd rather forget that!
I have found men who didn't know how to kiss.
I've always found time to teach them.
