I'd have to go with Finn harps, they had a huge attendence in Terryland last year. And they were a first division team, I also hear they will have even more flags and drums, next year, with a little production team, making the large flags.

Shamrock Rovers probably. They've literally paid their own players wages at times and despite all the ****e they've been through they still get decent crowds and you can always hear them.

Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........

it'd be a toss up between derry and longford for me...
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

    Rovers by a long shot.

After that, Derry's decibels-per-capita average is impressive (especially in Richmond) and Shels, for all the slagging they get over there not being many of them, make a huge effort with what they do have.

    Without any doubt, Rovers.

Harps fans a very close second though

well I suppose I'll just mention the support I'm envious of instead.

Shels - Damn all of them but they're organised and are certainly enthusastic.
Pats - Have had better years but are still very well drilled
Harps - Drums and loadsa passion
Shamrock Rovers - well impressed. The mix of larger and numbers and non stop singing is brilliant.
Like to look of the shed end in Cork.
Always seam to rain when Cork are in town.
Derry. We don't see that many but we hear thousands. Out on their own.

The third highest average attendence hardly counts as "damn all"

Rovers easily, numbers and passion wise, and anything else

Easy to support a team and waffle on about how great you are when your doing well

Harder to support a team when your doing crap, most fans teams just Don't

Lord knows what it must be like to be in Rovers fans shoes

it does when the UEFA figures are taken out of it. Your not particularly well supported but you've got a vibrant vocal support. I'm complimenting you...

    Premier Division clubs

Bohemians - Great fans about two years ago, really disappointing they didn't keep it going, have loads to sing about, was great when they were appealing ot the average Dub joe soap interested in footie and saw that Bohs were doing it, need to sort themselves out

Bray Wanderers - When last up in the premier, not really seen TBH but we'll wait and see

Cork City - Good at the moment but no where ear where it should/could be

Derry City - Great fans, but small numbers recently, amazed by the number of level heads in such a small area, well above the average for eL. No where near what they could be and not looking like they are doing much about it.

Drogheda United - Fans just dont seem to be coming on board in the numbers they should be, last visit i was pleased with the 2500+ there seemed to be there.

Finn Harps - Last time they were up, they thought everyone a lesson, expect more of the same. Probably stick it up to everyone again. We'll wait and see

Longford Town - The fans that are there are top class, but chríst above cup finals ... where do they come out of ?? a faction of them every game and you'd see a difference, not being funny but that should be sorted out quick smart, support your own !!

St Patrick's Athletic - Were great about 4-5 years ago .... where are they now. Sort it out now like !!

Shamrock Rovers - Staying power ..... displays ...... character ...... loyality ..... histroy ..... all cancelled out by the hand full of mindless fúckwits, the worst fans in the league by far !!

Shelbourne - Shocking in numbers, not as bad as people make out but nowhere near what they should be. Needs to be addressed asap

UCD - You have a name for poor crowds .... spade = bêche (french), pala (spanish), spaten (german)

Waterford United - No as bad as they're made out to be, granted, its probably a full house any time we visit. Not vocal enough ..... cardbaord cutouts most of the game. Needs to be sorted out asap.

    First Division clubs

Athlone Town - If the population of Longford is half of Athlones ..... is there any alarm bell in the town that someone could sound, even borrow it for a night or two. What is going on like ..... ????

Cobh Ramblers - The ones there make an OK effort but not in the running

Dublin City - The ones there make a good effort but not in the running

Dundalk - Where have they gone ??? with all that history, have they any faith, any pride ??? Something happed there .... something definitely happened !?!?!!? ..... Selofield had a part to play there i reckon.

Galway United - No where near where they should be .... for a long long while. Sort your fúcking lives out !!! The potential is there ..... and a great place to go out. How come a package was never put together to get away fans in, i dont know. Terry is a stone throw from a good night out after the game, probably one of the best venues for a game but ....

Kildare County - New kids on the block still i suppose .... i have never witnessed a game with them, what can i say ... dark horses !?! i dunno .... demographics would say they are way below parr

Kilkenny City - Way below parr, sort the ****er out .... a decent ground, and great town to go out in, Looked good for them when they came up 4-5 years ago ... but dropped off since, fans could be doing alot more to sort it. need to be organised.

Limerick - Like Derry, the ratio for level heads boads well, like Dundalk or Rovers for history .... the time could be coming now though but (funny how we are speaking of best fans) their test could be right here and now, if their fans pulled in and helped out for the next five years, they might make up for some of the lost ground. Shameful how they have langished at the bottom, a crime infact. Sort it out is an understatement

Monaghan United - Club are doing well ... demographics are not. What little fans are there are OK but need to impose themselves a bit more on the people around

Sligo Rovers - Bags of potential, great ground, brilliant town to go out in, seems to be good sponsorship etc. just need to imposed themselves a bit more on the town, should be alot bigger fan base wise for the first. Could be turning the corner though. Again though .... if there fans were organised and raised the bar/profile it would be better.

For the most part ..... nothing is being done to attract crowds, basics like radio, annouce the game, poster outside the ground, signs around the area .... so what can you honestly expect ??? ... if it was anything more than "not alot" you would be doing your club an injustice.
