Randolph, Brady and Hendrick demonstrated again today that they can be really good, top-level players. Any PL manager (or top-tier European manager) would do well to have sat up and noticed that. I think and hope that they have an interesting few weeks ahead of them because they could all do with changes of scenery (unless Bilic rings up Randolph and tells him he is his number 1).

My point is that it must really have played on his mind that his manager was unwilling to give him back-to-back starts.
Jeffrey is talking out of his arse so because he got consecutive starts on numerous occasions in that period.

I don't agree that he was terrible. He looked a bit rusty but kept showing, although little came off for him. It was a completely disjointed performance generally anyway from a team thrown together, so I'd pay more attention to the playoff game as an indicator of the form he was in. A lot of people on here thought he was absolutely terrible against Belgium too so it's all fairly subjective I guess.

really removed him because of age, the contract extension, he's been at Norwich a long time and also partly because as the tournament went on his influence waned. It's not a negative comment by me at all but I don't see there been a massive fuss around him possibly moving now..

Of the top 5, I'd say 4 need a move. I think Coleman is at a good club with good potential now they have financial backing. But I think he has showed how much better he is than so many right backs in this competition. He gave an absolute master class on Payet in the first half against France.

There's a lot of talk of Hector Bellerin going back to Barcelona. Not that Wenger would sign an Irish player though.

I'm still not convinced on duffy. He was under no pressure against italy. Against Holland under a high ball he got arse about face. We were beaten by another cross this time against France. He was very erratic in the game it wasn't just a one off. Still open on him but I definitely don't think he has done enough to gain a move more a "we'll see how he does for another year or two in the championship" at which point he is then 25 and will definitely need to move.

Hendrick being chased by Everton, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace according to the back pages.

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Also linked with Galatasaray, who scouted him earlier in the season.

    Brady to Leicester rumours intensifying.

Celtic fan beside me at work saying they are looking at Shane Duffy. Probably chatboard rumour rather than anything else.

Wouldn't be a bad move for him. They've signed a cracking prospect of a striker (Dembele), I like the manager (Rodgers), Champions League, the rise of Virgil Van Dijk and his aul man is from Donegal so there's a friendly face or two knocking around there.

He'd be playing against a lower standard than he is right now. Would be a backwards move at this stage of his career.

But he'd have CL football and Virgil Van Dijk did okay out of playing there. I think those points are valid and that's why I made them.

It's a big assumption to make that Celtic will make the group stages..

It is to be fair. And for all the noise about their 'world class' managerial appointment, he's not exactly known for taking defenders to the next level.
