    Mooney to Limerick

I thought he had signed for Home Farm, but apparently Noel Mooney is the latest to sign for Limerick FC.

Good move for him, and wish him all the best. He will be the best keeper in the 1st Division by some distance.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.

dunno about that. He might have a struggle getting into the limerick team! Fyffe is a damn good keeper. best of luck Noel, look forward to seeing you at the cross

    When?
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"

    G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

Ah good luck to ya Noel.
    Fine keeper.
Is this Fyffe fella meant to be a fine outfielder aswell?

Don't know about that. Jimmy Fyffe played really well last season (even outfield! ), and I think that he should start the season as the club's no. 1 goalkeeper. If Mooney gets in ahead of Fyffe, then Jimmy could leave, especially if Mike Kerley gets the Galway job. If that happens then it would have been a waste signing Mooney. From what I've read of NOC's comments, he wants both to be at the club this season.
If you don't like John 3:7...
    There's always Limerick 37!

Either way .... it looks like Limerick are on the move at last.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

What odds Limerick for 1st division title?

Noel O'Connor did very well last time on shoe string so could be a surprise again...

Ah yes the great myth of noc's previous success story at Limerick rears its head again Dont get me wrong the league cup was lovely an all and the thirty or so regulars at Jackman Park really appreciated it as we were hammered week in week out playin absolutely putrid football (by the way im willing to give o'connor a chance an forget the past an all so dis isnt a big personal thing but lads lets call a spade a spade like)

Too right. By all mean let's give the man a chance but let's not pretend that we've appointed the eircom Leagues Jose Mourinho here. I think he'll do better than last time but with the resources now apparently available that's to be expected anyway. Glad to see that his differences with players have been resolved though.
The ball is round and has many surprises.
