no, but i think it's before early february. joe posted here that they've been taken down in bishopstown, so progress is nigh.
Can anyone remember the date when the floodlights are due in TC?

There supposed to be in for the u21 friendly with Denmark, which I think is on March 26th (?). As to how long before that they go in, I don't think any date has been mentioned.

So it will be next season before City play under lights...
yeah, it's not like you can change the time/day of your home games during the seasonOriginally posted by Neil

Even if the club don't move the league games to evenings the floodlights should pay (if they actually costing the clubs anything) for themselves in no time.
- can have later 3pm ko afternoon games
- mid-week evening friendlies
- mid-week cup games at better times then 6pm (e.g. wouldn't have problem finding a day for game like the upcoming Limerick one)
- won't have to play those CL league games in semi darkness
- help RTE in have live games on fridays instead of sundays.
The futures bright.....
Ireland U21's play Denmark in a friendly in March. (26th?)
Ireland U19's will play the second leg of their play off against Holland at Turners X, on Wednesday April 10th.
The Dutch game especially could have a great atmosphere under lights.
