    League of Ireland Condolences Thread

Late last night I was informed of the tragic news the regular poster here Dunny passed away at the age of 25.

Last July Dunny had actually asked me via PM if it was OK to start a thread like this following the death of Stephen Maher's Dad and also mentioned the Pat's fan Hano that had died previously. I said that was a good idea and remember wondering why he didn't start it in the end. So I guess I'll start it now- use this thread to announce, pay tribute, remember, express condolences etc for Dunny and any other LOI people who pass away.

Always enjoyed his wind up posts. It is shocking news and while a Dundalk fan myself it was the online persona that I knew best and yet it still feels like knowing the chap. RIP Dunny!

Despite him being a Termonbarry Athletic supporting scummer it is absolutely awful and shocking news. I actually can't believe he was so young. One of the standout posters on here since I started posting on here.

RIP Dunny. Sorry I never got to have that pint with ya. I'll have it in France for ya now.

Ah jesus. That's awful news. Himself and myself went toe to toe regularly when I still had something relevant to contribute to this group. Him and his police scanner...

    RIP Dunny.

    What was that story?

I dont think that it would be inappropriate to retrospectively mention a few other like the afore mentioned Hano and WWS of whom I know little about but nonetheless were LoI stalwarts that died too young and should be included in this thread also imo.

oh it was just the usual, your fans starting trouble no your fans started it...kind of stuff. He heard the police say that Bohs fans had started trouble outside Oriel a good few years back, he had just joined the message board. He said he heard it on his police scanner. We bantered a bit about that for a while.

That's brutal , too young, condolences.
Had a few funny exchanges with Dunny about his police scanner also being able to scan tickets. Depressing.

Ah no. I didn't realise this was the same fella. That's just desperate news. I also heard today he was involved in the Twitter called 'Dundalk fc news now'

    RIP.
