    Awards double for Shels

    Awards double for Shels

Shelbourne added two more awards to their haul for the season when they emerged winners at the Soccer Writers' Awards ceremony.
Pat Fenlon was named personality of the year, chosen award of fellow nominees Owen Heary, Jason Byrne, Pat Dolan, Kevin Doyle and Daryl Murphy. It is the second year running that a manager has clinched the award, Longford's Alan Matthews was the winner last year.

    Still obsessed with Bohs

Just caught a bit of his interview on RTE Radio.
He was using the same dog-eared hymn sheet as his boss, and having another childish, ungracious whinge, based totally on paranoid fantasy, about the team that came third last season.
Seems $hels want a rule book to dictate teamsheets to other managers, regardless of players' contract status and loyalty.
Can these guys not just enjoy their victories?

Can they just not let it go now already ..... fair enough if it was a cheap jibe at he end of the season, stirring the shíte etc. but to bring it up now is a bit sad and pityful but it does confirm that they really meant it, which is worse again.
They could have a bit more dignity to be honest.

I remember watching recording of pas v Shels on last day & while Stuart Byrne mentioned the Bohs teamsheet in passing he seemed gracious enough to let it go at that.

Of course Fenlon & particular Ollie Byrne were completely obcessed with Bohs lineout & barely mentioned thier own achievements.

To expect anything less from shel$ would be foolish.

Is this what they call irony?

Seems like someone is having another childish, ungracious whinge, based totally on paranoid fantasy, about the team that came first last season.

An it seems you are spouting another childish, ungracious whinge, ignoring the unseemly, bitchy and childish whinge by members of your club on the night they won the title, back at him.....

Pathetic when a team win the league and all they can talk about is the team that came third

Er, what can I say? Is this thread stuck on a loop?
