Jonny gets the nod tonight for his first league start as Celtic travel to Partick. Joint responsibility for goals lying on his and the other 3 attacking midfielders as Rodgers doesn't start a recognised striker (LiveScore has Forrest up front).

I thought he looked good when he came on as a sub in the previous game but I suppose his biggest contribution at Celtic so far is being a catalyst in part for the much improved performance this season from (his rival) Forrest.

Thought he had a good game for Celtic yesterday as a full back/wing back, although he over hit a few crosses. Natural progression for some wingers who don't make it (e.g. Seamus Coleman) as wingers to try their hand as a full back. Watch this space.

Perhaps we can revolutionize football by playing a team full of fullbacks/wingbacks. Defensively sound, offensively dangerous...what could go wrong?!

Jonny did well v Valencia , he looks just at home on the left as he does on the right. He's been very impressive in these last 2 games and considering he's just back after a long injury rehab. Definitely a candidate for our left back/left midfield.

Hayes starts the Scottish Cup Final for Celtic. Mulraney starts for Hearts, with Doyle and Shaughnessy on the bench.

He might have been partially culpable for the Hearts goal but otherwise he had an impressive game, he's a tough nut and a versatile player. Is he a better option than McClean/Stevens?

Probably not. But I think I’d maybe take him over Greg Cunningham who is in the current squad...

Hayes nowhere near good enough for the Ireland team, unless there there is a serious injury crisis at some stage. Has done well to get a few starts for Celtic I suppose, but it's only because Tierney is injured and Izzaguire's legs are gone. They don't have many alternatives to him at the moment.

Hayes is currently filling in at LB but his better position is at LM. He’s had plenty of game time since returning from injury. There is no way he is far behind McClean. I’d have him ahead of McClean. He has more football ability in his locker than McClean and just as tough a nut.
Hayes is ambiwinger, equally adept on either side of midfield.

Disagree. SFA player of the year recently (last season?) and looking at the squad we have, I definitely think he's worthy of a place in the squad.
Folding my way into the big money!!!
