He's still young enough. He's surely no older than Liam Miller or Graham Barrett. If Sheffield Wednesday give him a chance, it will be his last. He needs to grasp this opportunity. Its not too late.

Yes but Miller has showed signs of actually producing some of his potential, mainly for Celtic mind, and Barrett isn't good enough either. It's too late for him to turn from someone who couldn't make it in the SPL to someone who will be playing at the highest level imo unless he has a serious, serious turn around.

It's hard not to be sensitive, defensive or even prîckly when the mention of the club comes up on this site, given the esteem in which many posters seem to hold Celtic Football Club and its fans. I honestly wouldn't read anything more than that into my response if I were you.

That's their right isn't it? How many other countries do you have a situation where people support their rivals in europe. Do Man Utd fans support liverpool in europe? Do Real fans spport barca in europe? No.

Not jealousy, just dislike/rivalry, call it what you want.

No. Wanting to see your rivals do badly is the hallmark of competitiveness. Wanting to see your league improve is a sign of a forward-thinking, positive outlook.

I dont hear you criticising these people Eanna, perhaps because you are one of them? people is glass houses shouldnt throw stones.

I'm not going to criticise anyone for whether they chose to support a rival team in europe. Personally, i always hope Irish teams do well in europe- I said that when shels were in europe- dunno if you missed it.
