Bohs and Drogs are good value !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I wonder can you bet on Derry finishing in the top three?I think 33/1 is a very good price. Remember, Derry will be full-time this season, have some very decent players and have added to them, are a very difficult team to beat and Kenny knows how to win a league.
You can back Derry to finish top 3 at 1/5 of the odds with Boyles.
With Paddy Power and Ladbrokes the e/w bet is top 2 at 1/3 odds.
some better prices available:
Shels are slightly better at 4/6 in Ladbrokes
Cork are 4/1 with PP
Longford 22/1 with PP
Harps 66/1 with Lads
Bray 125/1 with PP
Ladbrokes are also doing betting without Shelbourne
which you can see on aertel p282, but I reckon the
better value is in betting e/w
Other bets from Ladbrokes is how teams
will fare against each other in terms of table finishes:
Season Match Betting
5/6 Waterford v Longford 5/6
5/6 St Pats v Derry City 5/6
5/6 Finn Harps v Bray Wndrs 5/6
5/6 Shamrock Rvs v U.C.D 5/6
Best of the New Boys?
U.C.D 6/4
Finn Harps 6/4
Bray Wanderers 9/4
This isn't an advert for Ladbrokes but they are the only ones
with prices for the FAI Cup up already:
Shelbourne 7/2
Cork 4/1
Bohemians 9/2
Longford 8/1
Drogheda 10/1
Waterford 12/1
Shamrock 12/1
St Patrick's 12/1
Derry 16/1
UCD 16/1
Bray Wanderers 16/1
Finn Harps 16/1
Kildare County 20/1
Dublin City 20/1
Dundalk 33/1
Galway United 33/1
Athlone Town 50/1
Cobh Ramblers 50/1
Limerick FC 50/1
Sligo Rovers 50/1
Kilkenny City 66/1
Monaghan Utd 66/1
It doesn't say anything about E/W but it's usually
half the odds for a place in the final.
Derry look a decent price there considering they're
been put in the same bracket as promoted clubs.
