Pats and derry picked the wrong fight.
Saying we don't need your 5000 for a five year plan was a bad move. Most clubs need a plan. There are a hundred other better things to throw the toys out of the pram over.

But it wasn't €5,000. It was a €5,000 'discount' for use of a Dublin-based FAI-partnered firm, refunded over several years, dressed up as an generous FAI donation to clubs.
Basically it was a whole lot cheaper and handier to get the thing done in Derry.

The guy who done Harps one was Galway based. He done a fair few of the other clubs too.

Not the case. I particularly don't know where you're getting the "refunded over several years" - or are you reading too much into the "twenty quid a week" argument?
