    29 February 1976 Haroldís Cross Shelbourne 1-2 Dundalk
    Dundalk had signed former Preston North-End midfielder Alan Spavin for this game and he took the place of Sean McLoughlin for this game. It turned out that Spavinís clearance had not come through yet and Dundalk were to be fined £50 for playing him without the correct registration
