    Countdown

64 days to go to the start of the season, assuming Citys first game is Friday 18th!

My hope is a home game to Shels, or away to Waterford.

    I'd like
    home
    Derry
    away
Waterford or else Harps on a Saturday

We could have that non-mystery tour to BallyBofey!

Hmm just realised we have to be careful as don't really want to play away to Harps twice.
So my wish for the fixtures are
So hopefully Derry, Harps, $hels, Bohs, Drogs and Rovers at home twice

Bray, Waterford, SPA, UCD, Longford away twice.

with the games against $hels and Bohs coming as early as possible.

Actually, the fixtures I'd like in order are:
    H: $hels,
    A: Waterford
    H: Bohs
    A: SPA
    H: Drogs
    A: Longford
    H: Derry
    A: UCD
    H: Rovers
    A: Bray
    H: Harps

    Not one easy game there....

As far as I know you will play either ourselves or Harps away twice, not both. In the same way we will play either Waterford or Cork away twice but not both of you away twice

Must be the first away fan ever to want UCD away twice in one season!

So that's six points for us anyway...

Different club and league now, Stu.
Minimum 7 points for City, as we help you on your way back down...

Nah biy, things have moved on a lot, you'll be struggling for the whole season and will be long gone before the end of it.
We will take 7 points at least off you.

True, things have moved on since we were last in the Premier. We've knocked you out of the FAI Cup for a start!

It really is such a big thing to you to win the odd game....
Have your little moment of joy, those moments will be few and far between this season!

BTW, this thread has gone hopelessly off-topic!

Club shop staff say the season starts on the 18th, but City's first game is on Sunday 20th according to club shop, and Greg O'Halloran, so I make that 66 days. Groan: 48 hours more.

The opening series is the week ending Sunday March 20th. So it could well be sunday, but in all likelihood, Friday 18th.
