Other than the first 10 minutes we were terrible on Friday night. No fight and no desire to win. If we scored early it may have been different but as the game went on there was only going to be 1 winner. Cook really needs to have a look at things as we cannot lose games against these weaker team, the club have spent enough money on investing in this team and we should be easily winning these games with the squad we have!
Some of the players were given two year contracts. Very few of them were worth a two year contract. They have the luxury of the contracts. They need to up their games considerably or the fans will soon turn on them.
Cooke is a goner if results don't change. Europe or bust for him. In fairness we should've been 6 up after 20 mins last Friday but from then on things were awful. Cooke brought these players in so he needs to take full responsibility for how they are performing. It's sad to think of all the hype pre season. Hearing Drew Lewis is out with 2 cracked ribs aswell. Serious concerns for me the way this coach man manages his players, seems to be constantly going around with
a chip on his shoulder and this has reflected on the pitch for all bar one half of the current season against Sligo, its hard to fathom what system he is trying to play if he even knows himself , home attendances are bad enough as it is, but if this caveman dirge persists they will plummet
