    Cork City Cheerleaders

seeing that this is the transfer period,i think it is time to employ some professional cheerleaders instead of these little children doing the hit the bar competition. Its all well and good to make the club seem family orientated but we need some entertainment to even just try to keep us there at half time

Cheerleaders are way too tacky. Christ sake, the teenagers hormones are going wild enough as it is at the Cross evry other week, without having this .

Hit the Bar was good, but has probably run its course now, as people arent that interested anymore. That said, I wouldnt know how to replace it.

Remember the kids game at half time up in Shelbourne? What about a five-a-side half time match between retired CCFC players, and retired players from the visiting team? A sort of veterans league? They could play across the pitch with temp goals, to save their old legs.

that woudn't be feasible on a consistant basis.it would be hard to get veterens from the home side not to mention the away side. And for every game?????

Recently saw Fulham v Blackburn in London, absolute rubbish, Premership being best league is such a joke, the only good thing was the half time entertainment.

The Cravenettes....about 6 or 7 young athletic pom pom girls strutting their stuff. It was freezing yet there they were in tank tops and skimpy shorts providing entertainment!

They also had a bloke doing keepy uppy, who was good.

At a PSG game last year, all the did at half time was show a goal from the previous game where the beat Marseille away!

    Cheerleaders?

Hmmmm the sight of luscious Leeside Ladies cavorting on the field might attract even more travelling support to the Cross

i think we should get this crowd in....
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

At the end of the day whatever entertainment is put on at half-time, people just aren't that interested.

Yes, cheerleaders in skimpy outfits , yes five a side games but people really just want the footy to start again. Most of them just chat amongst themselves, read fourfiveone or read the programme.

    So who cares, really?
Football is life. The rest is mere detail...
