Roddy happy with licensing process

Derry City chairman Jim Roddy insists he is happy with the FAI’s stringent implementation of the 2005 club licensing, saying that the Association cannot be seen to “fob” the situation this year due to the fact that the Government is closely monitoring the FAI’s actions.

None of the 22 eircom League clubs attained a licence in the initial investigation into applications, the results of which were announced on Tuesday morning.
