Yellow cards were then shown to Mark Quigley, Lee Grace and Lopes when just on half-time, Boh's Paddy Kavanagh took a fine snap-shot from beyond the angle of the 18 yard box which nestled in the far corner of the goal for 2-2. Boh's Ben Mohamed then started turning on the style in the second half as the Youth's defence couldn't get near him. Yellow cards soon followed for Craig McCabe and Gary Delaney. Around the hour mark, Danny Ledwith came on in place of Eric Molloy for the Youths. Bohs were then prevented from scoring by a couple of offside flags one of which resulted in Graham Doyle making a very good point-blank save. With ten minutes to go, Gary Delaney put the Youths ahead with more than a touch of interference on the Bohs keeper, but he got away with it and the ball broke to him kindly again for an easy header and 3-2 to the Youths. However, the Youths couldn't hold out as, on 88 minutes, a Youths defender was adjudged to have fouled when attempting to clear leaving Mark Quigley to put away the peno possibly off the post for 3-3. Late substitutions for the Youths were Craig Wall and Stephen Last.
