Im sure it wouldnt be a problem to ask Dundalk for theirs seeing as it's such a sophisticated system not bring used. I dont see what the big deal is a ticket is a ticket whether it is a seaon long one or not, used or not either. How many tickets for fundraisers for poor sick people are bought without the intention of actually going t the funraising night - the fundraiser hardly excludes the money from tickets that didnt turn up on the night! Im sure though that for security or health and safety the number actually present in the ground is known.
Ticket scanners in the Brandywell, though sometimes they don't scan away fans.
They didn't scan my ticket in Dundalk last Friday, for what it's worth.

Cork scan tickets going into the ground, it's a great system.

Athlone vs Waterford 212
Pats game just over 1000 according to RTE, from Twitter pics Turners Cross didn't exactly look up to its normal levels either. Any good attendances to report? How are things looking overall so far nigel, up or down on this stage last year?
2,793 for Cork City v Wexford Youths.
A man can have no greater love than give 90 minutes for his friends.
From extratime:
Pats/Sligo- 1061
Drogheda/Limerick- 550 est.
Shels/UCD- 602
Our attendance once again given as over 700 tonight but no way In hell there was anymore than 450 there at most.
I was in the main stand and there were about 60 Dundalk fans in there and I reckon about 150 over in the away section.Id say about 3 or 400 Longford fans including about 12 in section O.
Was def more away fans than home fans! Horrible to see
1,061 was the official figure for Pat's v Sligo Rovers.
Various estimates for the Derry-Shams match, the mean of which would be 2,750, which would seem about right.
