There was a thing one time where any dark colours would be considered a clash, I think it was because of black & white televisions! Not sure about nowadays, we usually change against Italy but there's probably no need. They don't in the rugby and there's no problem.

Is it something to do with colour-blindness, and kit clashes?

It used to be about B&W TVs in poor countries.

My sponsorless top from AliExpress arrived there. It was sent to an address in England first, then reposted to my address. Strange one.
The jersey seems the usual quality, and looks well without the huge '3' in the middle of it. I presume these are just tops bought out in bulk in China for next to nothing, then sold on us westerners. Bargain at €14.
Have you ever won the treble?

Can you link me to which store you got?

    What are the sizes like?

Does it still have the Umbro symbol or is that removed as well? It seems to be removed on the picture on their site, kind of makes it fake looking.

The seller I used, 'wen bo', seems to be gone. But there's loads of other ones there.
The Umbro symbol is there and the sizing is the usual way.

AliExpress have a guarantee similar to eBay's, in that you'll get your money back if the item doesn't show up. Also covers counterfeits, so there's not much risk involved.

Haha but its all counterfeits. Umbro aren't sanctioning the sale of these products.

I bought some kits from Aliexpress for the young lad a year or two ago. Great quality (Nike Brazil / Adidas Argie) came with all the labels as it would if you bought them in a shop. Basically, I see it as being the same product from the same child workhouses that Nike and Adidas and Umbro use but they keep a stash for themselves to sell direct to the public on Aliexpress etc.. Whch I guess they are not supposed to do. If they are costing Joe Public 14$ what are Adidas / Nike paying them? < 10$ I bet??

All just presumption on my part.....
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

Anyone know any vaguely reputable sites doing the retro kits? Looking at picking up a Euro 88 or Italia 90 jersey if at all possible. Found one or two online but looking crazy money for the real ones!

The Ringer tee which I had coveted so long since I saw a lad wearing it in Paris last year and just never had in stock in my size in store has now been reduced on Lifestylesports.com
    €25.00 now down from €40.00

    It's a beaut!

    Picked one up last night.

That is nice. Cheers for the heads up. What sort of fit/length is it? Slim-fitted longer length would be ideal. Might order one myself.

That's pretty much the fit. The medium fit me but the large was much nicer in length so plumped for that.

I rang the local Life Style Sports this afternoon and they said they had one left in a large size so I decided to trek up the town to try it on and decide then, but it was gone by the time I'd gotten up to the city centre. In fact, all their Ireland gear was sold out. I probably picked a bad day to go buy something green, it being the eve of St. Paddy and all.

I may order both a medium and a large from online now and just return the one that doesn't fit best.
