I know we have Rhys, Powell and Lee Duffy to come back in but you're always going to have injuries and suspensions. We look short on experienced defenders in particular. To be fair, there were lots of calls about how poor we were, especially tactically, when Lawlor was there too. That's not meant as a defence of TC, or a criticism of Lawlor, it's probably a criticism of this angle of criticism!

If I recall correctly some were giving TC stick as "he wasn't listening to Lawlor". His stock was high from his Athlone spell but I'm not sure anyone really knows who was doing what as regards tactics and coaching.
