How we feeling?

same as me. the last two friendlies have bein disappointments. if we just about avoid the playoffs it will do me this year.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Not really confident either unfortunately. I can't see how we're going to avoid shipping way too many goals. Particularly the first few games with Rhys injured and Flynn unlikely to be match fit. First choice midfield and strikers should be competitive enough but as a squad it just looks weak and there's no experienced cover. I'm sure some of the young lads are going to be good players but experience counts for a lot too.

Wow I regret starting this thread now, it's gloomy 😭 a win on Friday is all important for how we start our season, I think Wel Nick it 2-1
Well Wexford are one of the teams I'd be looking at finishing ahead of so I'm reasonably optimistic about Friday. It's the games after that that worry me. Anyway, travelling down to Wexford for the first time on Friday so I intend to enjoy the trip either way. It is good to have a focus for the weekends again.

Can't see us beating Wexford on Friday, the bookies have them as favourite but if any of you fancy De Town get on with Bet 365 we are 2/1 to win in 90 minutes,
I really hope I'm wrong but I think we are in for a bad start to this season
I'm looking forward to how we get on with a younger squad (avg age 23). Credit to the club for being realistic with the finances with regards to the squad assembled. There was only a small increase in local support in our first season back in the Premier, so no point spending crazy money when gate receipts have been the way they were. Anything better than 10th is a bonus. Patience will be required therefore by us all. It's a long season so no need for people on here to be throwing the toys out of the pram in March and April if things aren't going well.
Cousins out
sack the board
hollocaine out
What's the craic with parking in Ferrycarrig? Presume as it's so far out of town there's enough space?

Longfordian
Unless the crowd is massive, you won't have any problem with parking. It can be slow getting out though, as there's only one gate.
As Forza says
If you are in a hurry to get out park near the gate on the way in, be prepared for a good walk to the pitch entrance but it will save you time when your leaving, if not just drive in and park beside the pitch, the car park is about the same area as CCS but narrower, I hope it's dry unless they have upgraded the roof from the tarpaulin that was there
Thanks gents will keep that in mind.

Important traffic info lads - http://www.wexfordyouthsfc.ie/latest...ent-for-friday
There's at least twice the amount of car park in Ferrycarraig as there is in CCS.
Longfordian, parking in the car park nearest the road is definitely the right option if you're looking for a quick getaway, but make sure you're leaving right in the button of the final whistle in that case.
Otherwise, when there's a big crowd in Wexford, like there will be on Friday night, hang about for half an hour after the final whistle and wait for most of the traffic to clear before leaving. I done this after Harps game down there at the end of last season where there was around 1,500 in the ground and made for a relatively clear road by the time I left.
