    The foot.ie 2004 Awards Presentation!

So, all the votes were in on wednesday and the countings been done, it's time to present the winners with the first (hopefully of many) foot.ie yearly awards! The presentation itself has been done in powerpoint format (Thanks to A Face for that) which you can download from the link below, if anyone has any problems with getting the file working leave a reply here and hopefully either it can be fixed or I can send you an e-mail with the results. Anyway, without whaffling on too much, here's the link, with thanks to Adam for hosting it for me.

    http://foot.ie/inc/ppt/foot.ie_awards_2004.ppt

Just download that, run it in powerpoint and view the slideshow. If anyone has any comments, complaints or suggests leave a reply here, since hopefully there will be another one of these for next year any ideas you might have would be very welcome too.

    Enjoy!

Who were the awards voted for by? I'm assuming there was voting from a broad range of voter types, yeah?
Very surprised that LTFC got not a nomination, nevermind award. Apart from the end when they were used as one of the few clubs worthy of summing up the whole season. Strange...

I'll take those awards with a pinch of salt please. Shels' 'Indian War Cry' as best chant? You're having a laugh.

Must say I didn't see the thread.
How many votes were cast in total?
Couldn't really be a true representation of the broad range of fans we have on this board, surely

in respect, that is brutal... Maybe I'm being sore at the absolute disregard for the entire league, apart from Shels and Cork... But I see it for what it is, and all it is is a tribute from dillusional supporters. A waste of broadband, downloading that.

PowerPoint is an optional part of MS Office or a standalone program and it does not come cheap. It would never be part of the software bundled with a computer.
However, you can get a viewer which lets you see PP presentations but not make any.

    According to popular belief:

    a) Shels have no fans

    b) Nobody likes us

    So, which is wrong?

And btw this particular Shels fan didn't partake in the survey.

Can someone just post up the results, for those of us not in the mood for a slideshow?

I'll post up the results here later today.

Lads, if I remember rightly no Longford fans actually voted which is probably why you got no nomination. I can only post up the results of those that voted, if you've a problem with the results and you didn't vote you haven't really got a right to complain. I was suprised by the lack of a nomination for Longford I have to admit but there you go. I'm pretty sure only one Shels fan voted for that matter, that being me, and my votes were worth one vote like everybody elses. The vote was open to any and everyone who uses the forum and that's simply how the votes went.

For the record I wasn't complaining - just simply asking some questions about the poll as i was surprised (like yourself) by the results.
