    A Thousand Words !!

Right lads, ... here it is !!

Can everyone post up a link to 3 images that sum up the last season for your club, and 3 images the sum up Ireland performance or other events i.e. New FAI creat etc. Images tell the story of how 2004 season went !!

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    Bray Wanderers

    1. Great way to start pre-season off having Everton playing at the Carlisle

    2. Droping silly points againist the likes of Kilkenny, Dundalk, Galway (twice), Kildare (twice) and Sligo when in fact we should have won all the matches on play

    3. Finally promoted !

I would also have to put a No.4 in there as well, Injuries were the story of our season, not once during the WHOLE season could we name our strongest side.

    Sligo Rovers

Not much to celebrate for Sligo Rovers, but here's my favourite three pics for last season with The Bit O'Red

    1 Kildare protest Byrne's dismissal

    2 Millers misses a sitter

    3 O'Donnell on his way to a hat-trick

THAT goal. Perhaps the most memorable goal we've ever scored

First Shels player to be capped by Ireland in decades. Stunning performance followed on his return V Pats

And the fans, "Just like the Italians" according to George Hamilton, allbeit it was last season he said that but the Drumcondra end packed and light up with flares is always a very nice site and makes alot of noise. Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture of the "Believe" banner that was used in Europe.

A great shot of Giller and Old Skool City after our first win against Bohs, when we were still naive and full of hope

Jason Byrne scored eight goals in four league games against us last season; this shot shows the one occasion on which we got the better of him, during the League Cup win over Shels. (Not pictured: Derek Griffin.)

Where it all went wrong. Spot the Judas. Also, photographic evidence that I knew he was a bad egg from the word go.

Couldn't find a pic of Keith Foy hitting the post with that last-minute penalty (thereby spurning the chance to tie a crucial game with Waterford at 3-3, DC having been 0-3 behind at half-time) at the RSC, an incident which summed our season up better than any other.
A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.

Harsh I think, He wasn't that bad was he? with a bit of luck I think next year he'll be a superb player. He's technically good and strikes the ball very well. I think he'll suprise next year.
