"All Right Now" by Free would be up there on my list as well as "Now I'm here" by Queen.

Love "Ride my See-Saw" by The Moody Blues as well.

My God, I can't possibly answer that... off the top of my head...

    'Sweet Child O'Mine' - Guns N'Roses
'There She Goes' - The Las
    'Screamager' - Therapy?
    'What's My Age Again?' - Blink 182
'More Than A Feeling' - Boston
    'Last Train Home' - lostprophets
    'Always The Sun' - Stranglers
    'Runaway Train' - Soul Asylum
    'Distant Sun' - Crowded House
'When I Argue I See Shapes' - Idlewild
'So Much For The Afterglow' - Everclear
    'Just A Day' - Feeder
    'Would' - Alice In Chains
    'Kill' - Jimmy Eat World
    'A Hard Life' - Queen

I could probably put together a list just as long tomorrow... and the day after...

Yup, I stand by that statement... now for a partial and totally random A-Z:

AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long
    Blind Melon - No Rain
    Counting Crows - Round Here
Def Leppard - Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad
    EMF - Unbelievable
Foo Fighters - Learning To Fly
Guns N'Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
Hootie & The Blowfish - Let Her Cry
INXS - Never Tear Us Apart
Joy Division - She's Lost Control
    Killers - Mr.Brightside
The La's - There She Goes

Might add to this soon... or not....

I see the term 'rock' is being used in its broadest sense here. Everything from Led Zeppelin to the LA's.

Lynard Skynard - "Freebird" (best guitar solos by a mile, imo)
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
"Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.

i made a rockplaylist onmy ipod, and these are the songs i've stuck in my head from my walk to work this morning

white stripes - seven nation army
chili peppers - give it away
gnr - welcome to the jungle
    foos - my hero
    ac/dc - back in black
    nirvana - lithium
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

Surely rock is that broad a term anyway?

Greatest is impossible, I'd say Nine Inch Nails-Perfect Drug or Led Zeppelin-Immigrant Song, purely for the bass by Led.
    j'accuse!

And I wanna add 'An Olive Grove Facing The Sea' by Snow Patrol as well. Such a beautiful, sad song.
