Nobody got it. 1989 was the answer. The semis in the following year, saw Bray beat Derry 2-1 in Bray, and St. Francis beating Bohs 1-0 at Tolka.

Superhoops was right regarding the Euro question. Ireland went out in the first group stage, while Turkey won the tournament at the RDS. Ireland won the tournament 4 years later.

Rovers won the FAI Cup 3 years in a row in the 80's. Who were the next team to beat Rovers in the Cup?

Anderlecht led 3-0 at Werder Bremen with an hour gone, in the Champions League groups in December 1993. What was the result?

    Werder won the match 5-3!
They got the 5th in the last minute. I think they also won the return match 2-1.

    Question:
Name 4 current Premiership managers who's managerial position immediately prior to their current one, was being in charge of a national team.
If you don't like John 3:7...
    There's always Limerick 37!

    Kevin Keegan
    Veimir Zajec
    Martin Jol
    Bryan Robson

Besides Celtic and Rangers, how many other teams have won the Scottish league?

Only 1 of those is correct.

    I think it's 9.
Aberdeen, Dumbarton, Dundee, Dundee United, Hearts, Hibernian, Kilmarnock, Motherwell and Third Lanark.

    Nope.

Bohs beat Longford in 2001, Longford won in 2003 and 2004. Someone in between...

1970 World Cup, I think? 'Twas inspired by yer man Rattin refusing to leave the field in Wembley in '66 and the ref just pointing at the touchline and everyone getting confused... Some bloke stopped at the traffic lights shortly after and the idea came to his head...

That's why I wasn't sure, I thought it might just have been the game before their three-in-a-row. Also there's a 5-character minimum post size.
