Yugoslavia, now Serbia and Montenegro? Dunno if this fits, as the place has changed radically in size, etc.Originally Posted by pineapple stu
I'm not too sure about this question esp when you've ruled out the likes of West Germany/Germany

That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

Stupid question - the area of Yugoslavia concerned has changed.

No it hasn't. There were two entities called Yugoslavia. When the old Yugoslavia broke up, new states were formed - Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia, Slovenia and Yugoslavia. This new Yugoslavia were in the '98 World Cup, and have now changed their name.Originally Posted by Kingdom

I think neither played in a WC. Might be one of those Italian-Argentinians from 1934 that played in the final against Uruguay in 1930?Originally Posted by Pat O' Banton

Spot on mate. Would have been an all British final if there hadn't been some disgraceful reffing and very intimidating atmosphere at the secong leg in Rome. Dundee Utd won first leg 2-0 but went down 3-0 in the Olympic stadium
