That Kyle Mcleod looked impressive when he came on. Would like to see him signed up.

Good performance and a good win last night. Russell MIGHT have filled the gap with those signings, if he's got em all over the line. Coughlan looked lively and nice to see Fergal score on his Markets Field debut.
Did Kenny sign also?
Kenny is signed Sharkey is all agreed and we are waiting for a visa for McCleod is word going round lastnight.
I thought Mccleod was Scottish.
Sharkey is done I was told this morning def looks like he'd do a good job for us back there
Who did Stephen kenny play with last season i can't place him?
The panel looks really strong now. No excuses from Russell will be accepted.
The only worry at the moment is having Kelly back and is O'Flynn fit and injury free.
O'Connor can fill in RB and Garbhan can play up top but we will be stuck on the bench.
I still think we should be going into the season fearing no one. We need teams to be fearing playing us, not the other way around. No panicking either, a lot of games to be played throughout the season.
McLeod's ability to carry the ball forward on the break was hugely impressive last night and led to the third goal.
The goal we conceded was an absolute shocker though. Massive gap between Robbie Williams and Shane Tracy for their right full, Horgan, to play the ball into. And attempting to play offside with no pressure on the ball is criminal.
Treaty Gooner received plenty of criticism in here for pointing out Limerick's defensive frailties, comparing them unfavourably to a Limerick Premier side.
As someone who sees more of that standard than most, on the basis of that goal, he wouldn't be far wrong. And that was the more experienced side of the defence too. Meanwhile, young McCartan and Sharkey were impeccable on the right of the four.

He was over-exaggerating to make a point, admittedly.
The crux of his argument - that Limerick wouldn't win the league with the defence they had at that point - was one that didn't deserve the level of mob adversity it received. And the manner of the concession yesterday bears that out.
While the signing of Sharkey should make a difference (on the basis of last night), there is still a ways to go in regard to recruitment in that area.
As everyone agrees![]()
Few days to go for kick off against probably one of our main rivals for promotion.
Anyone care to guess Russell starting 11 for Saturday?
Tough one to call as we could be missing 3 or 4.
