Gallagher commits to Rovers
Philip Gallagher, who has played inter-county Gaelic football for Sligo in the past, has committed himself to eircom League First Division side Sligo Rovers for 2005, meaning he will be operating exclusively in soccer circles for the next 12 months.
Gallagher made an impression in defence for the Bit o’Red in the second half of the 2004 season, particularly after the departure of Ian Rossiter to north-west rivals Finn Harps.
