    Sligo Rovers manager Sean Connor has used his extensive international contacts to sign three new players for the north-west club, with two Americans and a Nigerian agreeing to join the club for the 2005 season – and the Rovers chief expects several more signings before the start of the new season in March.

    Connor revealed that he had targeted two of his new acquisitions – which at this stage remain unnamed – before being appointed Rovers boss last October.
