Dupuy lands Galway award
French striker Damien Dupuy has been named official Galway United Player of the Year after a stunning impact following his mid-season arrival at Terryland Park, although Galway are likely to be without the forward’s services for the 2005 season.
Dupuy scored 13 times in 16 games for Tony Mannion’s side and his form eventually saw early season hotshot Barry Moran relegated to the substitutes’ bench.
