there was a mention of it in the Independent yesterday: http://www.independent.ie/sport/socc...-34564530.html
The FAI are set to arrange another friendly in Cork to coincide with their training camp in Fota Island and it's understood they have permission from Aviva to play a game in Turner's Cross if that match is a full international.
All goals, yellow and red cards tweeted in real time on mastodon, BlueSky and facebook

The ignominy of having to ask your sponsor master for permission to play an intl game outside Dublin.

the rugby team had the same problem when they played Fiji in Limerick, the game was designated an "A" international, so caps were not awarded

Can't understand why we are entertaining the idea of starting Keane in either of these games. He needs to be familiarised with the unfamiliar role of being a substitute. Because that is the role he is likely to be playing in France. Allow him to grow accustomed to it. For everyone's sake.

Am I right in understanding Arter's absence is related to the injury he returned from four months ago? If so, disappointing he couldn't do 45 minutes in one of the games. I don't think it would have damaged his chances of remaining fit for the duration of the season. Big ask now to put him in the team on the basis of one friendly v Holland. Especially when you consider we need to give Hendrick game time.

Ah well. Big opportunity for Gleeson, Quinn and Judge.

It says Belarus in the article above. Don't think we've ever played them?

His comment about the WAG's is outstanding.

Bit light on forward options now...

Pity about Pilkington. Thought he could have been tried in a more attacking role, where he has impressed for Cardiff.

I think he might get in a bit of trouble about that. I found it funny, but certainly if things werent going well and all in love with MON and Keane then he would be getting stick over that comment. It's a pretty obvious rhetoric, but i like the obvious rhetoric.

Also, if I don't have sky sports, can I buy in the match anyone know?

Outstanding, but only in the context of our sporting hacks so stuck for an intelligent question to ask MON that they follow a banal lead from their English counterparts.
And that's after construing some non story out of some non comments from Keane of Cork yesterday.
It's MON trumping their banality but they're probably too dumb to get it.

Don't suppose if anyone knows a way to see the game in the US? I usually get them on the ESPN website but they don't seem to be showing this one.

It doesn't matter where you are in the globe as long as you have access to the internet, just watch it on a stream.
    eg Setanta Ireland on http://nowwatchtvlive.me

Problem is that Im gonna be at work when its on so I need to record it and watch later. Some of the websites over here have a watch later option .... but not the dodgy streaming sites obviously.

Oooh not too sure about giving credit card details. Anywhere to get a stream that doesn't require sign-up/credit card etc?

Strange signature. The one thing he did was got us competitive, against everybody, for the first four years anyway.

I'm not the guy who thinks that you have buy free items with a credit card.
But I won't rule out the possibility that something creeps out from the that setanta channel, comes into your computer, somehow picks your pockets and slithers away.
