Maybe andy reid's weight defenders could post us up some of the premier league fitness stats that were posted here before showing reid to be one of the fittest (note i said fittest) players in the league. I deffo think I saw stats here before on him...

I remember Jol saying he was one of the fittest players at Spurs despite the fact that he always looked like he just steped out of an all you can eat pie shop.
Mind you it was a couple of months before a transfer window......

Thats not much of a recommendation when you consider the improvement in fitness in the Spurs players since Ramos took over.

I agree...he's one of the best at gaining time on the ball and his incisive passing is accurate and threatening ( ideal for Robbie )

He reminds me of the "truly" fat Liverpool midfielder Jan Molby who never got crucified for not having a six pack but let his ability do his talking.

Yeah over in Prague, he was always the best at chasing back etc when they hit us on the break. I can think of one example when the Czechs caught us on the break from a corner and Reid tracked the run of Rosicky all the way.

yeah thought he completely outshone Gareth Barry who had been a regular under McClaren in Englands midfield. He played some fantastic through-balls in the first half , in particular that ball to Murphy down the left which led to O'Donovan's headed chance...
