Another assist for Andy Reid today.
Think its time for him and Trap to get together and sort things out. He wants to play and we could be doing with him, especially the way he's been playing this season.
Another assist for Andy Reid today.
It will be good to see Andy Reid back in the squad again. I reckon Trap may just let bygones be bygones and drawing on his strong Christian values, will turn the other cheek and bring Andy Reid into the squad if only for a squad rendition of 'Kumbaya', as they sit around the fire and revel in the forgiveness.
Stephen Ireland sitting in Manchester, but having been sent a video of the antics by his friends in the squad, will surely be heartened by such a display and say "Aw shucks, what the heck", before joining the group around the fire.
Looking at Andy’s free on Saturday, SO close, from the same position as we had v France in Paris…if only!!......
Some would argue thought that Andy couldn’t have taken a free kick like that if he was a stone heavier!!! so it’s his own fault that he wasn’t in the team!!!
It wasn't mentioned here, but Trap actually watched Reid play in Sunderland's 1-0 defeat at Fulham.

Sunderland was poor and Reid put in his most disappointing performance of the season (that I've seen at least).
Its hard to know who Trap was at the cottage to see, possibly Andy, possibly Stephen Kelly.
Has Reid been injured or why has Bruce dropped him to the bench? Is he blaming the recent poor results on Reid?
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
hamstring injury, was out for a few games
from preview of Sunderland V Bolton (9th January): http://www.skysports.com/football/ma...150635,00.html
Lee Cattermole and Andy Reid (both hamstring) are also sidelined
He came back after injury and played most of the second half Everton. Worryingly the rotund Andy turned up again. Hardly touched tha ball. The next few games should tell us if he is going to recapture his early season form (and lose the excess blubber).
Why have the wheels come off at Sunderland (It does effect Irish players)
Andy Reid's confidence is too brittle I think. Crafty little player but remember that he failed at Spurs who are a medicore club at best. In all his time with Ireland he hadn't exactly pulled up any tree's.
Apparently Trap has aggreed to have Reid back in the squad "as long as he doesn't bring his guitar"
