I kind of feel sorry for Andy Reid. I can't think of an Irish player with as much skill and talent as Reid. I remember when he came to Sunderland first and was brilliant. He seemed to be at his peak and looked like he was going to become the player we all thought of he would be.

But injuries and he weight issues have plagued him. He definitely had magic in those feet!

it's 12 months since Reid's last appearance for Forest, and the latest news on Andy is that he's not expected back until Christmas: http://www.herald.ie/sport/forest-se...-31546945.html

Not looking good for him being out for so long, but lets hope he is back soon.

"His situation is a more difficult one to call. It could be November or Christmas. We have to see how he gets on."

The November sound more optimistic but we will have to wait and see, might be the kind of injury that
drags on forever. I hope not.

I thnk the current management are possibly more aware of the existance of Ian Harte than the beleagured Andy Reid.

Be surprise if he gets back in the Forest squad never mind the Irish one at this stage.
But you never know Forest used to win when he play.

That is play on the pitch, not when he played his guitar!!!

But maybe that might work if he plays his guitar as Ireland play?

Hard to believe that the match against Kazahkstan will probably be his last appearance in green. It all looked so promising for him to get back to where he belongs.

Why did you feel the need to specify the Brady but not the Whelan?

What has actually happened since Freedman's comments in early August? Has there been a setback or is his training not as amazing as he thinks it is?

Plenty of rumours about Reidy around the town since he got 'injured'. Could be a load of ********, wouldn't be the first time when it comes to Forest players.

He was always keen on the booze in the past, but I though maybe he had knuckled down on that, however when you
are injured you have more time on your hands for boozing.

However it may just be rumour I can't see anything much on the web about stuff like that.
