paul keegans 's bid to find a club in scotland has being hampered by the appalling weather across the irish sea.
longford town striker trained with scottish first division one side clyde last week but manager billy reid was unable to watch keegan in action.
keegan 32,said" the first day we trained on the artificial surface but after that it was so wet we couldnt do anything."
he said" the set-up is decent but it was impossible to show what i could do."
keegan has being given another chance in the new year. he is moving to scotland for personal reasons. his financee is scottish.
the dubliner has also spoken to airdrie utd player-boss owen coyle but is likely to return to clyde before going to any club.

Why does he want to play in Scotland?
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.
His father-in-law to be is seriously ill in Scotland so his fiancee wants to be near him and Paul wants to be with her, which is understandable enough, hope everything works out for him
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
