just compare the strength of Musgrave Parks lights with Turners Cross. Theres no comparison

How can we compare if there's no comparison!

when you combine new fittings, mast, cabling, switchgear, ESB upgrade, the cost would be as much if not more than what the original cost was, and for a ground we dont own. Unless there was a guarantee of a certain amount of TV coverage and associated revenue, from a players/ supporters at the ground point of view it wouldnt be worth upgrading.

Weren't Sky meant to be paying for all of this anyway ... what became of that ???

I think all EL clubs have to upgrade for UEFA Licencing purposes, Lansdowne is the only ground in Ireland with the standard that will be required for Euro games within the next year or two, thought it was 1200 lux but could be wrong on that figure
