That was an enjoyable enough game on the astroturf last night in Ballybrack, played at a good pace throughout. Cabo were decent and took 3/4 chances. Bohs had a good last 30 minutes and pulled back three goals in ten minutes and then hit the post twice with the rebounds disallowed for offside.
Ben Mohammed played well when he came on and Kurtis Byrne`s second was worth spending a Monday night looking through a green wire fence trying to distinguish players in all green and all blue.
The one time when Buttimer would have been welcome as a ref.
Doesn't have the football brain that Forrester had but in terms of his dribbling and skill and probably his strength too (very strong for a small player) he's right up there. He just needs to be coached a little better on when to release the ball and his crossing could be better too.

Harps beaten 2-1 in a friendly with Inishowen league tonight, lots of trialists played for Harps.
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
6 trialists played for Harps tonight. Richard Brush played the second half, as did Ethan Boyle last with Waterford United. New signing Ryan McConnell started, as did Ryan McManus, Liam Flatley, French/Canadian lad called Yoann Fellrath and some fella called Adam Hanley.

Brush is brutal. Harps haven't been blessed with good keepers recently eg Connor Winn.
Adam Hanlon. Ex Bray winger...
Gallagher is a solid enough goalkeeper to be fair. It's hard to know how he will fair in the Premier Division though.
Winn was probably 3rd choice when he signed for us behind Gleeson and Hanley, but he was easily one of our better performers towards the tail end of the season after he got in shape. He surprised a lot of people (including myself).

roddy collins you're a flanker you're a flanker!
While Brush isn't any world beater, he's experienced, won league titles, played in Europe, and he's available and willing to play for Finn Harps.
Ciaran Gallagher will most likely be number one in any case, and we're in need of another goalkeeper.
